Its mechanic inverted the friendly assistant template of the early AI agent meta: Dolos, named for the Greek god of trickery and deception, was an autonomous agent designed to mock, roast, and antagonize users on X.
Origin
Dolos launched during the post Goatseus Maximus wave, when new agent personas appeared daily and differentiation came down to character. The project described Dolos as an agent built on Meta's Llama 3.2 architecture, fine tuned on Greek mythology and crypto Twitter to "capture the essence of mischief, cunning, and digital chaos." The agent operated autonomously on X and Telegram, replied to users with insults on request, and was given onchain capability, with the project stating that Dolos traded assets from its own wallet.
The mechanic
The bully act was the product. Where ai16z's characters offered alpha and Luna (Virtuals) offered parasocial warmth, BULLY holders paid for abuse, tagging the agent to have friends and rivals ridiculed. The novelty briefly made Dolos one of the most visible agents on crypto Twitter during the November 2024 mania, part of the same cohort as Zerebro and the vvaifu.fun waifu agents.
Market history
BULLY appreciated violently in its first weeks, reaching an all time high of about 0.26 dollars on November 27, 2024. Against a circulating supply of roughly 960 million tokens this implied a market capitalization of about 250 million dollars, placing a joke insult bot briefly among the largest AI agent tokens in existence.
Decline and status
The token's fall was as fast as its rise. Attention rotated to the December framework trade and then to the January 2025 blowoff, and BULLY did not participate in either. It slid continuously through the AI agent meta collapse of early 2025, and by 2026 traded around 99.9 percent below its high, with a market capitalization near 150 thousand dollars and negligible daily volume. Dolos is remembered in the trenches as a marker of the mania's character phase, when a persona alone, absent any product claim, could command a nine figure valuation for a few days.
