The name landed because it fused the chain's branding with an existing slang archetype, and the community filled in the rest with slogan warfare: "study Hoodrat," "return to Hoodrat," and "billions must Hoodrat."

The chart cooled with the wider chain rotation, and as of mid August 2026 HOODRAT trades at a market capitalization of about 2.2 million dollars per DexScreener and CryptoRank.

Hoodrat's community runs a pure repetition meta, no roadmap and no mechanics, just the slogans applied daily, which commentators compared to the cult coin posting style of earlier Solana memes.
