Frong (FRONG) is a Robinhood Chain meme coin minted through Uniswap's unreleased Pools launchpad contracts six days before the product opened, turning the launchpad's own teaser frog into the top token on it.

Frong (FRONG) is a meme coin on Robinhood Chain minted on July 30, 2026 through the permissionless factory contracts of Pools (pools.trade), the Uniswap Labs meme coin launchpad, six days before Uniswap publicly opened the product. Its mascot is the frog that appeared in Uniswap's own teaser material for the launchpad, which made the token feel like the launchpad's native meme even though it was never endorsed.

Origin

Uniswap Labs deployed the Pools contracts on Robinhood Chain ahead of the public launch, and degens found them onchain before the announcement. Reporting by The Defiant and others attributed the FRONG mint to a Uniswap Labs designer who launched the frog himself; the image sat in the product's teaser video before the token existed. FRONG was launch number 464 of nearly 800 tokens created on the same factory before the official opening, but it was the one with the origin story, and when Pools formally went live on August 5, 2026 it opened with FRONG on top of the leaderboard.

Market history

On launch day of the public product, The Defiant recorded FRONG at a 12.1 million dollar fully diluted valuation, up 31.9 percent on the day, with 20.6 million dollars of 24 hour volume, about 61 million dollars of cumulative volume and 12,141 holders. Uniswap stated it had not reviewed or verified any token on the platform. The token cooled with the rest of the Robinhood Chain meme complex, and as of mid August 2026 it trades at a market capitalization of about 2.7 million dollars per DexScreener.

Community story

FRONG's community, organized around the @frongcommunity account and an X community, runs on the joke that the frog is "employee number one" of the launchpad: a mascot that escaped the marketing department and became the product's first customer. Crypto Twitter taxonomies of the August 2026 meta filed FRONG simply as "uniswap," treating it as the proxy bet on Pools itself. It is one of the defining coins of the Robinhood Chain summer alongside Stonkbroker and Hoodrat.

Current status

The token remains actively traded on Pools with a live community and is regularly cited in coverage of Robinhood Chain's meme coin driven early growth.
