Launched on March 10, 2024, it belongs to the misspelled celebrity meta, the PoliFi wave in which Jeo Boden and Doland Tremp turned deliberately mangled political names into tradable satire ahead of the 2024 United States election.

Origin

The token launched with roughly 4,800 initial holders and an anonymous team, and built its identity on content rather than a single image: a cartoon Tooker conducted mock interviews imitating Carlson's mannerisms and delivery, released alongside AMAs and a large meme library. The legal safety of the misspelling, the same device protecting the rest of the boden family, let the project market a recognizable public figure without claiming any affiliation. Carlson himself had no connection to the coin.

TOOKER ran with the PoliFi meta through the spring. CoinGecko records the all time high at about 0.136 dollars on May 3, 2024, which against the roughly 970 million token supply implies a peak market value near 130 million dollars; later coverage by Cryptonomist instead cited a peak market capitalization of about 30 million dollars, a discrepancy typical of the era's thin record keeping, and the true figure depends on how much supply circulated at the peak.
