Doland Tremp (TREMP) is a Solana parody coin of Donald Trump launched in February 2024, the bullish half of the PolitiFi pair it formed with Jeo Boden.

Doland Tremp (TREMP) is a Solana meme coin parodying Donald Trump through the same deliberately mangled naming convention as its rival jeo boden. Minted on February 28, 2024, it was the Trump side of the PolitiFi pair that Solana traders used as a crude on chain prediction market through the 2024 United States election, and it briefly attracted attention from the Trump orbit itself.

Origin

TREMP launched at an initial price of a fraction of a penny, days before BODEN's March breakout, depicting Trump as a smirking, airbrushed cartoon. Unusually for the genre, its lead figure gave interviews: CoinDesk profiled the pseudonymous woman behind the project, who went by B, in a March 2024 piece on the coin's rise, an early example of a meme coin operator engaging mainstream crypto press. The coin had no connection to Trump or his campaign, and its marketing leaned on the joke that the misspelling made this obvious. Coverage by Cryptonomist and others grouped it with BODEN at the front of the PolitiFi meta.

Market history

By late March 2024 TREMP had run to highs around 63 cents with a market capitalization of about 22 million dollars, per CoinDesk. Its true peak came with Trump's legal and campaign news flow: CoinGecko records the all time high of 1.51 dollars on June 5, 2024, days after Trump's May 30 felony conviction galvanized his base, implying a market value around 150 million dollars against the roughly 100 million token supply. The coin rallied again in the run up to the November election, with Cryptonomist reporting a 285 percent October surge and a market capitalization back above 32 million dollars. The irony of its ending is well documented: Trump won, but attention consolidated into the official trump launch of January 2025, and TREMP, like the rest of the parody cohort, bled out. By August 2026 its market capitalization sat near 310,000 dollars.

Cultural impact

TREMP is half of the founding pair of PolitiFi, and its chart preserved a different signal than BODEN's: where BODEN tracked decline, TREMP tracked conviction bounce, election odds, and the emerging crypto Trump trade. It is also cited as a precursor case for the trump coin launch: the 2024 parody coins proved a nine figure market existed for Trump themed tokens, and the official version arriving a year later captured it at vastly greater scale, wiping out the parodies it had validated. In the trenches TREMP's arc is shorthand for narrative expropriation, the pattern where an unofficial meme builds the market and the official product takes it.
