Frank DeGods is the online identity of Rohun Vora, founder of the DeGods and y00ts NFT collections and one of the defining personalities of Solana consumer crypto. Though an NFT founder rather than a memecoin trader, his commentary, feuds, and product experiments made him a constant presence in the discourse around the trenches.

Career

Vora launched DeGods in 2021, and the collection became the flagship Solana NFT project, followed by y00ts in 2022. The projects survived a chaotic October 2021 launch glitch and mint delay controversies, covered at the time by NFT media, and rose to the top of Solana NFT rankings. In 2023 Vora moved DeGods to Ethereum and y00ts to Polygon, later returning y00ts to Solana; asked why the projects left Solana, he gave a bluntly self critical answer in an interview quoted by crypto media, attributing the move to a loss of nerve. In January 2025, NFT Insider reported backlash over Vora's response to allegations of mismanagement of the DeGods and y00ts collections, with holders criticizing what they saw as an unserious posture toward the brand's decline. In May 2025 he announced his resignation as CEO of DeGods, handing the project to pseudonymous community members; in the announcement, covered by The Block and Protos, he suggested that fixation on the Frank DeGods persona had been holding the project back, and stated that he was not under investigation and had never done anything unlawful. Throughout his career critics have accused him of hype cycling and abandoning communities, accusations he has consistently denied; supporters credit him with building the most durable consumer brands Solana NFTs produced.

Frank is one of the most memed founders in Solana history. His pod appearances, his experiments with points and burn mechanics, and his abrupt strategic pivots all became reference points, and "Frank is cooking" versus "Frank killed the project" remains a shorthand argument structure in NFT and trench circles alike. His trajectory from NFT king to semi retired commentator tracks the broader migration of Solana attention from NFTs into memecoins on pump.fun.
